A New Adventure

A few weeks ago I was approached with an opportunity to work with The Leakey Collection on Polyvore in the way of creating sets for them. I thought about it for all of 2 seconds and said YES! I could see that their jewelry was beautiful, high quality and totally my style. Then I read their story.... Their jewelry IS beautiful and high quality, but it's also is full of passion and spirit. The passion of it's designer Katy Leakey and the spirit of the incredible Maasai women in Kenya who make it. The Leakey Collection is a fair trade company grounded in it's mission to support the Maasai people and their community, focusing on education, environment and sustainability. THIS was a company I could get behind!
