I grabbed my bag and stepped out of the class room, down the hall and out the door. Sipping my pelligrino I surveyed the scene.
Boys and girl rushed by me in a blur, most nodding to me out of respect. Across the campus I spotted someone getting out of a car luggage in hand. Another new girl? Someone stood beside me, looking I saw Bianca's skinny figure and her eyebrow raised with irritation. "I hate new girls." Bianca said. I nodded in agreement smoothing out my tank. "Let's get this over with." I said walking quickly setting to pace for us, Bianca followed with a determined look on her face. We walked up to the new girl with an alarming pace, people turned to stare at us and a crowd soon followed.
As we approached the girl I though for a minute I recognized the twig, shaking my head I cleared the thought. "HEY!" Said the girl in an upbeat tone. "Welcome to Lagoona Vista Academy." I said dully. I watched her face change into a nervous mess. "Nice shorts." Bianca smirked. The girl picked up on the sarcasm and went to fix them dropping her drink.
Soda and ice went everywhere and the crowd erupted in laughter. The girls tried to walked over it but failed. "Ew." Said Bianca turning up her nose. "J-Jamie?" stuttered the girl. Then the feeling of recognition passed over me stronger this time. "Thats my name." I said starring at her blankly.
"I'm the vise president's daughter, Katie." She prompted. "OH!" I said my tone going higher to a more friendly matter. I walked forward avoiding the mess on the ground giving her a quick hug. "Nice to see you again, you are going here now?" I asked. She nodded and wheeled her suitcase around the mess. "That's wonderful." I said putting on a fake smile. This was going to mean a lot of drama. "I missed you!" She said. I nodded, " Missed ya too. I you need any help around campus you can just call." With that I smiled and left, Bianca on my right. "I hate her, she is so ugly." Bianca said bluntly. Sighing I replied, "Be civil, save it all for Bree."
With that I walked back to my room with Bianca I had a lot to do.
