For Resort 2014, Nina Ricci creative director Peter Copping puts a modern, slightly deconstructed stamp on the house’s fabled feminine French codes. Inspired by Provence's warm-weather colors and rustic textiles, the line includes floral eyelet, tropical tweeds, airy chiffon and signature touches of lace. Here Copping riffs on the proper Parisian pencil skirt by creating his version in a lilac stretch tweed with serged exterior seaming and visible grosgrain waistband. Fitted knee-length skirt, grosgrain ribbon waistband, visible serging on front and back, unvented, finished hem. 25" length. Invisible zipper. Cotton/viscose/nylon/elastane. Dry clean. Made in France.
