Alright, so here's the first chapter. After the day I've had, I'm just glad I could even pull myself together enough to write it. I'm still not one hundred percent sure what these characters look like or who celeb wise they resemble. For now though, it's still the same as the intro set. Tell me how you picture the characters in my comments, please. It would be a big help. Are you excited?!? Yay, I know I'm excited! And, no roleplay sets for me today, I'm too depressed. Isn't that sad? Oh, and just on a side note, this whole chapter is a flashback.
Nine Crimes; Chapter One
I stumbled as Tristan pulled me into his room, shutting the door behind us. I practically fell onto his bed, while he sat on his desk chair. "I can't believe we're officially outta school! We graduated!" I said, excitedly.
"Hey," he whispered, calming me down, "I got something for you. Consider it a graduation present."
I raised my eyebrows, "I do love presents. But, Tris I didn't get you anything."
He shook his head, "I didn't expect anything." He fumbled in his desk drawer, handing me a black jewelry box.
I covered my mouth with my hand, "Are you proposing?"
He chuckled, "Not exactly. Open it."
I did as he told me slowly peeling the lid from the box. I gasped, "Tristan, it's beautiful." I slid the ring on my finger.
"I though you'd like it, Beth. It's a promise ring."
"What are you promising?"
"That one day soon I'll make you my wife."
I threw my arms over his neck, pulling him toward me, "Mrs. Beth Montgomery, I like the way that sounds."
He grinned and gave me a steamy kiss. I pushed him down on the bed, practically ripping his shirt off. "Whoa," he managed to whimper out. He began to slip the straps of my dress off my shoulders.
The door flew open, I fell off Tristan's lap and onto the floor, "What the hell?" I asked, looking at Logan standing at the edge of the bed.
"Sorry dude, didn't realize you had company." He smiled and winked at me.
I gave him the finger, and stood up. "It's pretty late. I should get home."
He nodded in response and I left the room leaving the boys to talk or whatever stepbrothers do.
The drive home was about an hour. There may only be five hundred people living in Hookerton, North Carolina but traffic was always a biitch.
I skipped up the steps to my house, pushing the large, red door open. I threw my keys on the table, kicking my shoes off. I saw my mother, father, and sister gathered in the living room. My mom's face buried into her hands, my dad consoling by her rubbing her back and Autumn just was staring off in space.
"What's wrong?" I asked, realizing they were crying.
Autumn ran to me, pulling me into a tight hug, "Grey's dead. He was murdered." I took a step back, not wanting to accept this new. My own brother, dead.
"When? How? Who?"
"About a half hour ago, he was shot." She looked down at her feet, "Tristan killed him, Beth."
Alright, so that was the first chapter. I know it's a little choppy and kind of bland, but I promise things will pick up. If you read it, write grey's dead in my comments. And don't forget to leave feedback and tell me how you picture the characters to look like. Also, I didn't have time to proofread so if there are errors I apologize.
