Misha Nonoo's designs encompass a couture sensibility for everyday life, cultivating a keen celebrity following that includes Gwyneth Paltrow. Last year, she was awarded the Fashion Group International Rising Star Award for Women’s Ready-to-Wear.
In 2008, Misha began her career in New York City, apprenticing with a renowned atelier before launching her eponymous collection two years later. Inspired by a life of rich cultural experiences, the designer was first marked by a trip to Bahrain, before moving to London. Here she became inspired by Britannia’s cool edge and the understated elegance of bespoke tailoring.
Later, whilst at business school in Paris, Misha learnt the importance of luxe fabrics and subtle, distinguishable details.
Misha Nonoo’s Autumn Winter 2013 collection is an unmissable invitation to the Russian countryside. Reaffirming her tailoring prowess through a series of stunning coats and jackets, there are also modern staples like the mini-skirt, the printed trouser and the cable knit. Everything is luxuriously executed, with sheepskin and feathers as finishing touches.
