justin performed for people he didn't know, moved to canada with a guy who wasn't exactly succesful, and he WORKED for his fame.
 
one direction almost didn't make it through to the x factor, had everyone tell them what to do, and basically had everything handed to them.
 
i'm sorry, one direction will NEVER be on justin's level. i prefer the talented canadian boy to the cute british boy band.
