friday; weapon shopping
I turned around to look at that person even though I knew clearly who it was. "What?!"
Is he here to apologize cause I hope he does. Its weird that I even answered him.
"Look I'm sorry for the things I said."
"Whatever Zach, you really crossed the line there," I said and crossed my arms over my chest.
"I know and I'm really sorry. I bought you something," he said.
I raised my eyebrows. Please tell me it's not something cheesy, but yet I was curious.
"Here." He handed me something long and flat.
"A ticket?" I asked.
"Well two but since I have to take care of you, I'm taking you to a Kings Of Leon concert," he said and smiled.
I looked at Zach, a little speechless. How did he know that I like Kings of Leon?
"I've heard you playing some of their songs on your iPod so I thought maybe.." he trailed off.
Why is it like everyone has been able to read through my mind lately.
"Uhm," I mumbled. He did went a little off-boarded the other day.
"Oh, you don't like Kings of Leon?" he asked, wanting to put the tickets back into his jacket pocket. "Then maybe I'll get something-"
"No!" I yelled. The shop owner held his head up. I waved slightly at him to let him know things were alright. Gosh, I yelled in a weapon shop. "I mean, I love Kings of Leon.."
"So," He took back the tickets out. "are you accepting my gift?"
"What about me?"
I looked at him warily. Well, he didn't really meant to snapped at me.
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, you're forgiven."
"Thanks Jess, it makes my work easier," he said and winked. But I have to say his wink was kinda cute.
He opened the door and I walked into another shop, smiling at him for being a gentleman.
"So, what are you getting?" he asked.
"That sounds like grocery shopping."
"For us? It kind of is," he said and grabbed a very long gun.
"Bigger," I said suddenly. It's long but he need something bigger.
"You need a bigger gun. That one is a bit small for you," I said and he laughed.
"Oh," he replied.
"Yupp, ohh," he said and smirked.
Something of him was being fishy.
"You are making me reconsider forgiving you."
"I'm just kidding Jess," he said and looked at me.
Maybe I was thinking too much, a lot of things got into my mind lately. Especially... I relax a little and smiled at him.
"I know. Messing with you is pretty funny, too"
He selected one slightly bigger than the one I already had and passed it to me. "I think this is good enough for you."
I'm not quite familiar with the size measurements and also I think he knows it better than I do.
"Should be," I replied and put in into the basket. This really looks like some grocery shopping.
He quirked his eyebrow. "You're not gonna check?"
"I trust you."
He was playing with my considerations of forgiving him again.
"Don't tempt me, rabbit." He does remind me of a rabbit sometimes.
He lifted his hands up as if he knew what I was talking about. "Alright." Then he realized something. "What did you called me?"
I turned around and walked off to the other shelf, checking out some other weapons.
He caught up and grabbed my shoulders to turn me around. "What did you just call me?"
I bit my bottom lips, suppressing a smile.
"Come on, Jess! Rabbit?!"
"Well, you do remind me of a rabbit," I told him what was on my mind.
"I think that is absolutely no good for a men's ego," he said and shook his head.
"I think is hot," I said unwarily. Jeesh, what was I thinking?
"You think I'm hot?" he asked.
I kind of blushed a little. In way he is, I guess.
"Well you are hot too Miss.." he said and turned around, looking at something.
"I'll pick you up tomorrow at nine."
"The ticket says 7," I said, lookingat the ticket.
"Fine, I'll pick you up at 7 and we'll go have dinner."
"Fine," I replied.
