NYFW Beauty: Diane von Furstenberg Fall 2013

The idea for color for Diane von Furstenberg's Fall 2013 collection is magenta lips, diffused red lids and a fresh face. Makeup artist James Kaliardos used colors from MAC cosmetics. He used MAC Chromagraphic Pencil in Process for the lips. For the eye makeup, he used MAC Cream Eyeshadow in Rusted Red from its forthcoming Fall trend palette. He also blended it with MAC's Cream Eyeshadow in Oyster, a shimmering champagne, to add a highlight to the inner corners of eyes. Skin was sculpted with warm shades of MAC Face and Body Foundation. Kaliardos filled in brows with Eye Shadow in Omega before swiping on a few coats of its Haute & Naughty Mascara to enhance the drama.
