The bag is definitely blue. Like a royal blue color....love it. The size of the bag is just right and it's sturdy (can stand up on it's own) which I personally like in a bag. The shirt is cut somewhat big. I ordered a size down from my usual size in JC blouses and it fits great. It is supposed to be a little bit baggy. It's roomier at the bottom than a typical popover and it is a little bit longer in the back. I just love it and get so many compliments when I wear it. You really need to go up at least a 1/2 size in the flats. I'm not sure why but they run small.

how is the bag - is it blue or purple?

I got flats on FS in my reg size and they are small, hoping to stretch tehm out.:((
