Omg guess where I made this set??? ON MY NEW iPHONE!!! Woohoo! Not to brag, but this a game changer, guys. I just had to share. I never thought this day would come. And, um, does someone want to teach me how to go on caps lock here? Or is that not possible?
In other news, I'm officially done with English assignments for the year! Woot woot! Just handed in my research paper today and man, what a relief that is. I ended up doing "Interpreter of Maladies" by Jhumpa Lahiri. It's a collection of short stories basically about the maladies that tear people apart (and she pays particular attention to Indian-American immigrants which added an interesting layer) and, I don't know, I really liked it. I've always really liked short stories, and these are tragic but in a beautiful way, and written so eloquently, too, so I recommend you pick it up!
But okay so now we're doing book groups, and I need some good suggestions! They have to be American literature and appropriate for an English class, obviously, so if you guys know any that fit that criteria, I'd love to hear!
Alright gotta work on my history paper now, though, so I'll ttyl!
