Catherine looked at the bright screen of her new Apple laptop, the new retna graphics were absolutely stunning. She read through her emails, one from the school board, two about the upcoming lacrosse tournament she was going to be competing in, in the following weeks. And last but not least one from -- The University of Yale!?
Catherine jumped up, almost in tears, or joy, as if somebody would confuse it with sadness. "Eddie! Eddie! I got my email!" She called as he ran to their shared bedroom in the New York City apartment. "I finally got my email from Yale." She smiled. He hugged her tightly. "That's great! When's the interview?" He asked. Catherine turned back to to the paragraphs that were on the laptop screen. "Uhm, it's tomorrow at four pm." She read. "They want my transcripts, my portfolio, my citizen information and a whole bunch of other things." She said, sighing and standing up and going to her school bag and getting out a lot of papers, that she already had prepared.

That next morning, Catherine got a shower, and as of course, Eddie snuck in a bit after she was done washing the bubbly shampoo out of her dark, silky hair. After about a minute, she got out, a cream colored towel wrapping around her torso. She carefully walked to her dressers drawers and got out an appropriate interview outfit. Skinny jeans, a blue button shirt that contrasted perfectly with her new tan colored Burberry trench coat. A gift from the last show she was in. She then tried to decide on her shoes, and finally picked her boots, which she didn't really wear often, but she changed that.

The ride to New Haven was long, exciting, nerve wrecking and slightly uneasy. It made her a bit sick to her stomach. Maybe she should of finished her bagel this morning instead of pushing it aside.

They got to the campus, students were lying in the grass, reading, talking and some people where just casually hanging out together. Catherine got the jitters, knowing that maybe next year, she would be in the same place.

Catherine sighed as four o'clock rolled around finally. She walked to the admission's office and asked to know where she should go. The oriental lady, who had drowned herself in too much Chanel number five, pointed out the way. Catherine thanked her and went on her way, down the hall, her papers, carefully clutched in her hands.

It was seven o'clock, the sun was going down over the Yale campus. Catherine ran down the marble stairs, jumping off the last two. She ran to Eddie, who was talking to some guy who was obviously a student. "I have amazing news." She smiled. And knowing what she meant, he smiled as well, engulfing her in a tight embrace.
"I got in." She whispered.
