Paul Smith Britain Creates - Fashion And Art Collusion

Britain Creates Fashion and Art Collusion displays the collaborative work of leading British fashion designers and visual artists in a ground-breaking series of works recorded in a box set which includes two books, nine posters of the finished artworks along with a CD containing an audio track collaboration. The first of the two books contains an introduction by Lucy Yeomans and an essay by Iain R. Webb, plus biographies of designer and artists involved with the project alongside additional rough sketches, notes and ideas of their collaborative efforts. The second book includes visual interviews of artists’ and designers’ in their studios, highlighting their joint creative process with a foreword by Britain Creates Fashion + Art Collusion curator Susanna Greeves and photography by Gautier Deblonde. The posters of the nine finished artworks are photographed by Stephen White.
