Dhara is inspired by the side designs of a poetry manuscript from Saadi. It was painted by Mir-Imad in 1609. Each color is separated from each other by a thin black line just like they do with traditional rugs from India and Middle-East. Philippe Deshoulieres has been producing porcelain in the Limoges region of France for six generations. The pattern combines two cultures: the light flowery Persian vegetation and Indian arabesques. The colors inspired by the traditional saris from Penjab and Cachemire.
