Watch videos & listen free to Joyce Manor: Falling in Love Again, Christmas Card & more, plus 29 pictures. Joyce Manor is American band from Torrance, California. With their first release in 2010, they play well-shaped kind of fun and energetic music. Currently they’re signed to Epitaph Records (though they were previously on 6131/Asian Man) and have 2 demos, 1 EP, 3 splits, 3 full-lengths, and 1 compilation to their name. They’ve got a very distinct sound without stereotypes, blandness, or replicas. Their influences could include Jawbreaker, Descendents, Weezer, even Thin Lizzy and The Smiths. Yet they don’t sound like direct rip-offs of any of them. It’s cool. Line-up: Barry Johnson - Vocals / Guitar, Chase Knobbe - Guitar, Matt Ebert - Vocals / Bass, Jeff Enzor - Drums Discover more music, concerts, videos, and pictures with the largest catalogue online at Last.fm.

Watch videos & listen free to Skaters: I Wanna Dance (But I Don't Know How), Miss Teen Massachusetts & more, plus 6 pictures. SKATERS formed in late 2011 after Singer Michael Cummings and Noah Rubin (The Dead Trees, Adam Green, Little Joy) spent a year trading demos back and forth from Los Angeles to London with Guitarist Joshua Hubbard (The Paddingtons, Dirty Pretty Things). The three met in the middle to record an EP in a Manhattan loft, and never left the city. The result is a smart, dynamic punk record drawing inspiration from obscure genres and cultures. And, a live band featuring a rotating cast of young energetic musicians and veterans of the Boston and NYC music scenes. Watch videos & listen free to The Orwells: Who Needs You, The Righteous One & more, plus 25 pictures. For The Orwells, Remember When will be an introduction of sorts—the 12-track rat-race shows the band’s repertoire of pranging riffs and sneering, snot-nosed vocals. The tracks are a walloping war-cry from a generation that up until this point has only offered bubblegum pop—the animus of The Orwells. It’s quite clear early on the in listening to the LP that the band is well aware of the past, the homage rings through the record, using the ghost of punk’s past as their musical sprit guide. However, the band straddles the thin line between their influences and their originality, ripping riffs and smashing drums in a fashion that their age into being just another fact mentioned in their bio.
