SUNDAY DECEMBER 26: Adele's having a party at the Walden to get to know some of the people around Boston. And trust me, Adele knows how to host a party. Drinks are being served all night as well as food, its kind of un-formal so let you're hair down and have a good time!
I sighed as I held a fussing Lucie on my hip. She just seemed so unhappy tonight, and despite the fact that I was all ready to go to Adele's party tonight, I couldn't.
"What's wrong, babe?" Lewis asked me as I moped into the living room.
"Nothing." Then, "I just wish we could go out tonight."
"Go." Lewis said. "I'll take care of Luce tonight. You deserve a night out."
I was honestly shocked. "Are you serious?"
He nodded and reached out for Lucie. I grinned and leaned down to kiss him. "Thank you so much, Lew."
I was suddenly in a great mood. I could go to the party and have fun with all my friends, it was just what I needed.
Quinn drove us there. She decided to have a girls night out and leave the guys at home. The first thing I did was head straight to the bar. Nine months with no alcohol certainly was hard. This was my first drink in what felt like forever.
"Serena, Quinn!" Adele exclaimed as she spotted us at the bar. "I'm so glad you guys could make it."
"Me too." I said as I took a big gulp from my drink.
"I can't believe you're out, S." Adele said jokingly. "We haven't seen you at all since Lucie was born."
"I know." I said. "Hopefully you'll all be seeing more of me."
I grinned and Adele went to mingle with the other guests. Quinn and I had a great time laughing and joking and dancing and drinking. A lot. By the end of the night both Quinn and I were totally smashed, we had to call Jared to come pick us up.
Let's just say he wasn't too happy to find me practically throwing up in the bushes in Adele's yard. Quinn was just laughing as Jared yelled at me.
"Quinn, shut up and get in the car." He snapped. "You too, Serena."
We stumbled into the car, every time he turned a corner I thought I was going to get sick again.
"I can't believe you guys." Jared scolded. "Especially you, S. You have a baby at home."
"I know." I slurred. "I'm sorry, Jare."
He just shook his head, and I knew he was still pissed.
By the time we got home, Quinn was already passed out and Jared had to carry her into bed. I stumbled into the bedroom, crashing into the bedside table.
"What the h-ll, Serena?" Lewis said, startling awake.
"Sorry, Lew." I slurred. "Go back to sleep."
"You're drunk?" He demanded, and I knew he was mad.
"Quinn and I, we, we... just had fun tonight." I giggled. "It's no big deal."
"But it is a big deal, S. You got /drunk/."
"I know." I said sliding into bed next to him. He turned his back away from me, and my stomach went into knots. Sh-t. "I said I was sorry."
He didn't say anything, and he didn't even speak to me the rest of the night. I was too drunk to even realize how bad this would be for us.
MONDAY DECEMBER 27: Free day!
No story, sorry.
TUESDAY DECEMBER 28: Lovebirds Jamie and Nel have moved in together, so to celebrate they're throwing a party to celebrate. Grab a date, head on over, and have some fun!
No story again, sorry. Serena didn't go to the party because Lewis was still pretty pissed about her night out.
