@beyondtheblue - I agree with you, and almost got the byzantine in M for that reason, but I guess I'll have the Fisherman and the Cotton waffle to play the game, both bles. The canvas in small I really enjoy with a tank top, that's it! But it is good to have both sizes that you can wear in differnt ways :o)
@villasba, thanks for letting me know...and you are right, the cotton cable does NOT stretch even a tiny bit in the arms! I tried the canvas one on again this morning and the arms are pretty snug. I think my motto in buying from now on is going to be "when in doubt, size up"! That sweater is definitely more comfy in the M. :)
@beyondtheblue - You will be fine and happy! I wore it today again, and it ives a little. The waffle knit part stretches more, but the arms is good enought for a button up shirt underneath. It's different than the cotton cable that doesn't strech anything even after wear. I was so tempting to buy the blue cotton cable, I tried the M as well, and as you said it doesn't add volume,, such a pretty color!
@villasba, the chalk color is so tempting...it would go with everything! Do you think the small will be big enough to allow me to wear a button up underneath? Blueisgoldpolyvore said the waffle knit part is stretchy, but I've also read that the arms are somewhat skinny in a couple of reviews. I'd love to hear what you think! :)
@kittywitty -- its personal preference of course, but I've both sizes and ended up wearing one size down a lot more often since the soft middle part has a tendency to poof at the waist. It isn't as noticeable when layering, but over a tissue tee, I end up tugging at the sweater all day to make it lie flat.
@kittywitty - the cotton waffe sweater is TTS to slouchy, because its soft and it gives a little :-) If you wear the smallest size in sweaters you can go XXS, or small for a loose look?! I have no idea after washing if it shrinks a bit or not :-P. xoxo
@kittywitty, I just ordered it this morning, but @villasba said it fits pretty much TTS and she has pics of it on her blog. I'm guessing you'd want an XS, or even XXS. I ordered a S & I'll be glad to let you know how mine fits when it arrrives! :) I am very glad to hear that it is soft..I've been disappointed a couple of times ordering cotton sweaters and having them be kind of rough or scratchy, but those are usually the ones that have some nylon in them which I'm glad the Waffle doesn't.
@villasba, thank you...I was very surprised to find this color available this morning! Of course it was no where to be found on the website during the promo! :)
@beyondtheblue I've been checking for popbacks on this sweater so I can recreate this look, too! My store had one in chalk and it was really soft! Do you have this? I'm guessing it fits kind of slouchy? Not really sure which size to get (if it ever comes back!). Thanks! :)
@beyondtheblue- love, love this look! You are so lucky to get this color, so pretty! I'd love to find the chalk or this one as well,:-) I will copy that with mine in navy :-P
