Oh ... I never thought about the name meaning anything to anyone! I should probably have changed it as soon as I joined. [They used my email name, which is a shortened form of a business we used to own, but have since sold.] Except for Mt. Washington we don't have anything like Colorado's summits! My husband has skied in Telluride a few times, but the closest I've ever gotten was flying over the Rockies on my way to Cali. They were quite impressive!
... apparently there were TWO big storms yesterday... one in Colorado & one in New England! I think you got the worst of the two. I suppose the point was that we were both snowed in. And besides ... Daylight Savings benefits BOTH of us. :)
@summitsp...nice to hear from another Coloradan..thanks for the words of encouragement...I should be more optimistic, considering we live in a beautiful state with over 300+ sunny days. Thanks again!
I had to drive out this morning & was surprised to see how few cars there were for a Monday morning. Everyone is still shoveling out, I guess. Hang in there ... Daylight Savings starts in a few weeks. Spring IS coming, though we might see another storm or two. Repeat after me ... "It will all melt." :)
