--Thursday, February 25th: Beach Bonfire. Ciggies and beer is the theme so get ready for an old fashioned roast.
"Taylooor! I was beginning to think you wouldn't show!" Eva said after I arrived.
"Sorry, just a tad late".
"Ah, so your definition of tad is thirty minutes," she said, smiling slyly.
I laughed, "Alright, so did you go in the beach yet?" I said, changing the subject.
"Yess! Its amazing in there---be sure to take a bottle of beer, and i'd be better" Eva instructed.
"I think I'll take a pineapple juice instead" I replied, laughing.
"Oookay!" She said.
I smiled, shook my head, and walked over to the beach, and sat on the sand.
"Fancy seeing you here" A male voice I recognize said.
I turned around and saw Austin.
"Um, yeah, same for you" I said.
"So whats up?"
"The stars?" well, that was a stupid answer. Nice going Taylor.
He laughed as if it were really funny, "Hadn't notice" Austin responded sarcastically.
"Ah, its getting cold out here---I should go grab a jacket or something" I said, wanting to get away before I said something stupid again.
"Wait, no. You don't have to do that, just take mine" Austin said, taking off his sweatshirt.
"Thanks..." I said, as I slipped into it. "So remind me how boring it is in California again?"
He chuckled, "If you don't like tans, lights, parties, obnoxious but awesome teenagers, you'd hate it"
After a couple more back and forth conversations, I walked back to where most of the girls was.
"I didn't see you with a sweatshirt on when you came...and it certainly does not look like a female's sweatshirt..." Eva said.
"Don't worry, still a virgin" I winked.
