I'm not sure what it is about this timeless classic that keeps us scrambling for the opportunity to ride on a bumpy cart sitting on the itchiest, scratchiest seat, but we all do it, don't we? A Hayride is a reminder of simpler times and dispite the jostling of the journey and the laughter of friends around you, a hayride brings with it a sense of peace and tranquility because in spite of all that is wrong with the world, all the pain and sorrow out there, there is still Hayrides, there are still farmers working the soil like they had done for thousands of years, and the planet continues to produce it's bounty for us.
