Some History On" Haute Couture"

When I think about the word “fashion” the first place that comes to mind is Paris. Even though there are many other world renowned places like Milan, London and New York known for it’s fashion, Paris seems to be at the top of the list. Dating back to centuries ago when Marie Antoinette people all over the world were looking to the French to see what they were wearing and what trends they were setting. Although these were trends that were being seen all over the world, especially in Europe, they were almost exclusive. These designs could only purchased by very wealthy and upper class people due to the price being paid for the garments.
