Bridget Price; January 1st.
"I love days like this." Hunter stated with a smile as the both of us walked hand in hand through Central Park, "No bloody cameras following us around." He added bringing the back of my hand up to his lips and giving it a kiss.
I had to agree. I loved days like this too, i enjoyed when it was just the two of us doing our thing without cameras. Not to say i wasn't getting use to ignoring the cameras when they were around.
"I hope the no cameras aren't the only thing you love about this day." I teased, "Because then we'd have a big problem." I added doing my best 'b.itch' voice. Which when you're a Price it wasn't that hard of a thing to do.
"Of course not." He said matter of factly, "I also love the scenery." He added gesturing towards the snow covered trees.
"You're right, the scenery is great. I mean i saw a couple of good looking guys back there maybe i should go ask them if they're single." I deadpanned while removing my hand from Hunter's and turning on my heel.
"Aye!" Hunter yelled grabbing me from behind, "They may be good looking but i doubt any of them have an Irish accent." He stated smugly while pulling me closer to him.
"That's something i'm counting on." I said dryly.
"Of course it is love." Hunter laughed as we started walking again, "I talked to me brother the other night." He stated as we stopped in front of the Alice In Wonderland Sculpture, which was actually my favorite thing about Central Park.
"Oh yeah?" I questioned sitting down on top of the sculpture. It was of course freezing, but i didn't care, "How is the better looking Mills brother doing?" I joked.
"I'm going to pretend that i didn't hear that." Hunter stated sitting down next to me, "He's doing fine, coming to visit soon." He added with a big smile.
"Thank god. I've been missing his handsome face." I said.
Conor still lived in Ireland, but always came to visit and of course when he did stayed with me and Hunter. I didn't mind because Conor was like a brother to me and he always made Hunter happy, but the two of them together was like taking care of two giant drunk kids.
"I'm starting to think you want me brother." Hunter said while playing with my hair.
I shrugged, "Maybe just for a night."
"I think you're becoming too funny for your own good." Hunter stated.
"Well i did learn a lot of my humor from this really weird Irish guy who lives with me." I said rolling my eyes playfully, "He kind of sounds like a leprechaun when he speaks."
"You don't say." Hunter said playing along, "Well for your safety maybe you should tell me how weird this lad is? That way i'll know if i have to recuse you from him." He added.
"Well there's so many weird things about him i don't know where to start." I stated over dramatically, "He says aye a lot and he wears the color green almost everyday." I added shaking my head in disapproval.
"What a Jacks." He said shaking his head, "He's got a bit of Irish charm though, doesn't he?" He questioned with a smirk.
"Wait a minute," I said raising an eyebrow, "Did you just call yourself a toilet?" I questioned remembering some of the slang words he had taught and i was pretty sure Jacks meant toilet.
"It's highly possible that i did." He said with a shrug and pulling me up off the sculpture, "Now how do you feel about spending the rest of the day in bed and figuring out a plan to rescue you from this weird man you live with." He added with a cheeky wink.
"I'd have to say that sounds like a wonderful idea."
