Rosendahl Timepieces Rosendahl - Watch II - digital
The analogue wristwatch was designed in 1989 and it was the first one of Flemming Bo Hansen ’s sketched wristwatches. The idea for it emerged in Flemming Bo Hansen’s vision of creating a wristwatch without any unnecessary functions. The watch doesn’t display anything else than the time and it has therewith already deserved the style icon predicate. The simplicity and the clear lines of the Watch II are characteristic for it, they are Flemming Bo Hansen’s emblem and therewith also displayed in every one of his design watches. Watch II is available in four editions, two large ones and two small models. Two watches have an analogue display and the other two have a digital one, and typical for Flemming Bo Hansen, these watches also renounce any buttons and unnecessary functions. The digital watches display the rime and the date, and the analogue watches display the time – only the time. According to Flemming Bo Hansen, digital watches symbolize modern people and the way they think. The keywords are effectiveness and precision here. Time can be displayed effectively and precisely on a digital watch. Flemming Bo Hansen believes that analogue watches symbolize feminine values such as the roundness and softness contrasting the digital ones. Blank polished, allergy-tested stainless steel and reinforced, mineral glass as well as plastic have been used as materials to produce the Watch II – design watches. The Watch II is waterproof down to 30m.

Rosendahl Timepieces Rosendahl - MUW Watches
MUW is the abbreviation for “Men Unisize Women”: The simple watch looks wonderful at wrists of both sexes. At the same time, MUW plays with the word “move”, since movement counts in her: Sporty and noble at the same time, the Rosendahl watch suits the most different purposes and clothes styles and it can therefore be used for every event. The designer marriage Rikke and Kasper Salto designed the MUW for Rosendahl. The MUW is the embodiment of modern minimalism with its graphic dial: Crone and seconds pointer have been kept in contrastive colours against the dial, and the MUW is embossed by functional details regarding design. The housing under the 44 mm dial has rounded and pleasantly wearable edges and movable brackets, which adapt to every wrist. This much innovation gave the Rosendahl MUW the desired Red Dot Award despite of the clear appearance. Rosendahl offers different editions of the MUW, not only watches, but also replacement bands. Rosendahl emphasizes that women might also wear the watches loosely around their necks as accessory, while men might use the comeback of the pocket watch. The MUW watches are always combinable with different bracelets transforming them in neck watches or pocket watches in different colours, setting new accents. The robust and still fine nylon bands are easily replaced without any tools.
