OH VILLA I'm just jealous you get IRL looks at these special items. I have to order, my store doesn't carry high price-points. You could always buy with the free ship option….

One other thing…. this is the coolest purse I've bought in a long time. It's obviously more of a special date bag, but it's substantial in that it'll carry quite a bit and keep the shape. It's more of a pewter like the satchel than this pic shows, if you are nervous about a "silvery" look. Very subdued and beautiful IMO. LOVE!

Before I get into the 3 rule, have you seen "thisfreebird" blog? The written word, the smart humor, the effortless clothes, the humanitarian/coctailmaker/petlover. She's been an inspiration for a while…. so when I was wondering what to wear at a casual friend's dinner this weekend I immediately thought of Carrie from the bird.
So the 3 rule. It's a fuzzy number for sure… in certain situations. But if you're more like me than Carrie at the bird, you'll need to count your pieces. I tend to wear more statement pieces, so make sure you don't have more than 3. Earrings are one, bracelet two, ring three… in this instance. Notice how Carrie from the bird doesn't wear a necklace. See??? She's not overdoing it.
If you're doing 5,432 bracelets, and no necklace…. bring 'em. She looks adorable.
