The Bushman people of Botswana have lived in the Kalahari Desert for tens of thousands of years. The Botswana government attempted to relocate those living in the famed Kalahari game reserve, leading to conflict and litigation. The Bushman people eventually won the right to return to their ancestral home. In conjunction with a tour company, they offer Bushman safaris so that people can learn about their culture and relationship to their harsh environment. To learn more, go to the Bushman website, http://www.zambezi.co.uk/safari/botswana/bushman.html.
P.S. This is tiny, because for some reason I don't have the cropping tool (the sunset photo is very wide). I can't write, either; however, I have rarely been inclined to.
