THURSDAY APRIL 7; While the guys can spend the day on the beach or one of St. John's many island bars, the girls will be going to the spa for a day of mani/pedis, massages, facials, and it's all outside in the island breeze with that beautiful view of the ocean.

"Miranda, leave that alone." I told her, sitting on a lounge on the beach. She was leaning down to pick up some trash.
I looked a few feet away where Cailee and Cole were finally, finally asleep. Now I could get my mani/pedi in peace.
"Mama, look, look!" Miranda came running up with a bucket of water. I looked inside to see a tiny baby jelly fish.
"That's so cool, Mands. Let it back into the ocean so it doesn't die, okay?"
"Okay!" She shrieked, running back to the waves.
I eyed her carefully when the manicure lady came over. "Color?"
I held up a light blue nail polish. "Excellent," She smiled, and worked on my nails. "They're cute."
Smiling, I glanced at the babies. "Thank you. I have another one-" I pointed at Miranda. "She's almost two."
"Oh, my." The lady said. "You've got your hands full."
I laughed. "Yes but I love every minute of it."
"You should." She agreed. "They're beautiful."
I smiled a 'thank-you' when Jared came up...drunk? No, not quite.
"Hey babe," He kissed me.
I shushed him, watching the babies stir. "You'll wake them up and I just got them to sleep."
"Sorry," He kissed me again. "Where's Mandy?"
"In the water, she's missed you."
"Okay, have fun." He walked away to go play with Miranda while the lady finished my nails.
A few minutes later, my nails were done and I walked towards the water with both babies in my arms.
"Quinn!" I heard a voice.
I turned to see Serena and Lewis. "Hey guys, where's Luce?"
"Back at the hotel with Louren. She's sick."
I pouted. "Sorry." Serena smiled at Cailee who was awake by now. "Can you take them?"
"Of course!" Serena smiled, taking the little girl in her arms while I handed Cole to Lewis.
Together, we walked down the beach and into the freezing water. I picked up Miranda and twirled her around, landing softly in the water. I smiled, hearing her giggle. "ReRe!" She splashed water on Serena.
"Not on the baby.." I laughed, as Cailee started fussing. Serena gave Cailee to Jared and then walked over to me.
"Hey, can we talk for a minute?"
"Yeah, c'mon." We got out of the water and started down the beach. "What's up?"
She paused. "Are you okay...you know, about the whole marriage thing?"
"Not really," I admitted. "Yet. But I will be. It's just a lot for me to deal with at once."
"Okay..." She bit her lip. "How 'bout we think of this as a good thing and not a bad one?"
"Alright, I'll try. It's just the lying part, you know?" I told her. "I want my best friend to be honest with me."
"I know, I was just trying to protect you." Serena wrapped her arm around me.
"I know," I smiled faintly. "And thank you for that. Now, let's not ruin the day. Go get Lucie and we'll all play together; she is not going to spend the day all cooped up."
"Right," Serena headed towards the hotel.
I smiled. "Serena?" I yelled.
"Yeah?" She took a few steps back towards me.
"You know you're my best friend, right?"
"Yes!" She said dramatically. "You're such a loser, Quinn. But I love you."
"Whatever," I joked, heading back into the water. I stepped in and walked until I was in deep to my thighs.
Just then, a force knocked my over, and I was face-first in the chilly water. "Ha, b-tch!" I heard Serena laugh.
"I hate you." I joked, wiping my eyes.
"Love you, too." She ran towards the hotel to go get Lucie.
As for me, I headed back to where Jared was holding Cole in his arms and Lewis had Cailee. Miranda was floating around in her little arm floats.
This was a good day. Plain and simple; I was happy. I had nothing to worry about. Or so I thought.
Just as I turned my head towards Miranda, a huge wave came and pushed through her.
"Miranda!" I screamed, hearing nothing but the sound of waves.
