Sunday: Free day, sets are optional.

I'd planned a relaxed day to calm down from all of the things which had happened. My first week in Shanghai had been so exciting, in several ways. But when I heard a knock at my hotel door, I knew it wouldn't work.
Before I'd even opened the door, Elle had entered my room.

"Hey girl!", she winked and kissed me on the cheek before she sat down on my bed. I was a bit perplex at first, but then I smiled at her.
"Time to chill?", I asked her and she nodded. I sat down beside her and we started to chat about the latest news. Suddenly, my cell phone started to ring. I looked down at the display, but I didn't recognize the number.

"Elizabeth von Adrian here", I answered after one more ring. Elle next to me looked pretty excited which made me suspicious.

"This is Lucian", the familiar voice answered and I couldn't help it, a smile spread across my face.

"Hey. Uhm, how did you get my number?", I wanted to know.

"One of your friends gave it to me", he laughed and waited for my response. I shot a glance at Elle who looked extremely innocent. I raised my eyebrows and sighed.
"Oh, okay. I can imagine who it was. Anyway, what's up?"

"Well, I wanted to ask you out. Maybe you have time for me today? Let's say at 7 in the bar nearby your hotel."
Had I told him about the hotel? I didn't remember it.

"Let's have a look at my plans", I said and pretended to flip through a calendar. "Seems like you caught a good day, the only free one this week."

"What a relief", he laughed. "So, do you want to meet?"

"I'd love to", I blurted out before I could stop myself. Elle next to me clapped her hands and I made a hush sound.

"Is there someone else with you?", Lucian asked curiously.

"Sure, my boyfriend", I joked and rolled my eyes though he couldn't see it. He remained silent for a few seconds, but then he laughed again.

"I'll be waiting, Elizabeth", he meant and ended the call before I could even start to respond.

"Elle!", I screamed and threw a pillow at her. "How dare you?"

"Sorry", she giggled, "but he seemed to be so into you, I couldn't do anything else. And admit it, Eliza, you wanted to meet him so badly, too."
I shrugged, but I felt how my cheeks became red. Elle smiled like she knew more than me.
"So, what do you want to wear?"

Four hours later, I was on the way to get a taxi because it was raining like crazy. I stood in the lobby and looked down at my dress. Pretty good. I didn't notice Belle before she stood right in front of me.

"What are you up to?", she snapped. "Fu.cking yourself into society? That's the way you look like."

"Oh no, that's more your part, Belle. I have a date." I couldn't help myself, I just had to tell it to her.

"A date? You? Sure", she laughed. "Who would date /you/?"

"Lucian", I snapped back. Belle didn't say a word and just stared at me.
"Lucian?", she asked and started to laugh like crazy. "Really? Oh, that's too funny. Only a doll could do that!" She laughed so hard that she had to sit down.

"I'm glad I make you so happy", I said sarcastically, but she didn't stop.
"Oh, go on your date, little doll. I wish you fun."
"Thanks", I answered and turned around, still hearing her laughter behind me. What was up with that girl? What did she know what I didn't? I shrugged the strange feelings off and jumped into my taxi.

Lucian was already there, right at the bar. When he saw me entering, he stood up and helped me out of the jacket. "Hello, Elizabeth", Lucian greeted me and guided me towards the bar.

The date was a total success. Lucian behaved like the real British gentleman he hopefully was. Belle's strange behavior stuck in my head, though, so I refused his kiss in front of the taxi. He looked disappointed, but I couldn't help it. I didn't want him to think that I was easy to get. As soon as I sat in the taxi, I called Dani. I'd informed her about the latest happenings.
She was just as excited as Elle who waited for me. We wanted to do a sleepover. I told her about Belle's reaction, but she just waved it away with one.

"Eliza, it's Belle, remember? I mean, seriously, she doesn't like you and that might be too nice said. So don't care about that, okay?"
I shrugged and tried to forget about it. I wanted to end this great day with a funny night.
