A modern day Persephone before her marriage to her beloved Hades is a girl of simple pleasures; she spends her days tending to the garden, roaming the woods and befriending woodland creatures. She loves to read botanist books and gothic novels.
She has a keen eye and an adventurous spirit and her mother's tight grasp on her fuels her fire. She meets Hades and sees good in the somber God and King of the underworld. Seasons pass and she falls for the God and leaves the green earth to venture to the land of the dead.
The girl who loved life now rules the dead for half the year as Queen and the Goddess of Spring could not be happier.
