"Your going to the party tonight, right?" Paige asked me after the photoshoot. "what party? Nobody told me there was going to be a party." Not that I really cared. I haven't gone to any parties here at SMA yet.It wasn't that I wasn't a social person, I was, but evry time I went to one of those parties, there was at least one guy who got drunk and started hitting on me. "I can't believe you haven't heard of it! You are so boring, girl! Live a little!" Of course. Leave it to paige to slip me into a little, overrated dress and hook up with slurred-speech pigs. "Come on Aster you have to come it will be so much fun!" Well I don't kn-" Your coming. And your going to have fun. Party starts at nine." Great. I know how Paige is. She is expecting me to go, and if I don't, she will burst into flames. Well, I better go buy a dress. The people at these parties expect top-of-the-line clothes. Yeah, I own great party dresses, but they're not going to cut it. It was the end of the day. I didn't have another photoshoot, so I left early. I went into some fancy dress botique That had perfect dresses. I finally picked a bright red one. It it was sort of short, and no sleeves, but the other girls were known for wearing skimpy dresses that if they bend down there butts will hang out of the dress. I think I was good. The dress was on sale, only two-fifty. So I bought the dress, went back to my dorm at SMA, and found shoes and accessorise to wear with it. Gold cuff, gold clutch, black pumps, red lipstcik. I curled my hair, just loose curls, and put on mascara.
I was ready for the party. All I had to do was steer clear from the bar. Easy enough.
When I got there, I saw Paige, wearing a little black dress, very little, and had every article of jewelry on. I saw her, but she didn't see me. There were so many people. It wouldn't even have mattered if I came or not. I could have just said that 'I was there, but you didn't see me. The crowd was just too much.' Well, I was here, so I mine as well say hi to some people. I walked in. All I really noticed was the high-class dresses the woman were wearing. I noticed some former photographers. I killed some time talking to some people, some that I remember their names, some I didn't, just trying to stay away from the bar. Then the part I was dreading the whole time. I heared a slurred voice behind me " Hello," he said.I started to walk away when he grabbed my arm and turned me around. He was holding a beer, of course. " You look lonely. Want me to buy you a beer?" He said as he rubbed my arm. I tried to pull away, but he grabed my arm, tighter this time, while he finished off his beer, dropped the bottle on the ground, and put his other hand on my waist. " Oh, feisty, are you. Why don't me and you go back to my place, if your so feisty." Oh god. Why did I come here. I just barley heared a very familliar voice calling my name. Christopher! He started running toward me, pushing some people along the way. I tried pulling away again, but nothing helped. "Whats going on?" He said. "Who are you?" He knew I would never be caught with a guy like that. "Hey man," I heared the other guy, the drunk one who now let go of me, say. " She wanted me to take her to her home. Or my home, if she wants." He was looking at me now. Chris just tokk my arm, and said, "Let's go." We started walking.Chris wasn't the type of guys who started fights. Well, at least I thought. "Yo!" The guy said, turning Chris around. Then Everything happend so fast. The guy punched Chris right in the face, and what surprised me most was that Chris punched him right back. I couldn't watch. I ran outside. I didn't have money on me to get a taxi, so I walked. It would be alot better then staying there, watching Chris.
