Oh dear, I'm SO sad for you. Losing our best friend is the worst.... Thinking of you a lot!!!

@jilbert @niwi @suburbhater @etteniotna - thanks all for the kind thoughts. Buddy's reprieve was short and he went downhill fast. We made the decision this morning and took him to the vets and said goodbye. Parting is so heartbreaking - but i know we did the last loving thing we could for him. I came home and made a special set today that i dedicated to him. Tears are still flowing......... rest in peace my sweet boy........

SO SORRY to hear about Buddy and SO HAPPY to hear he is doing better. One of my daughters has a dog that has been living on borrowed time for years ... and she cherishes every day she has with her. I can't imagine how she will react when she finally loses her ...

thank you all so much - we just brought Buddy home from the vets. The IV fluids helped and he just ate his first small meal in 48 hours. He's comfy and as long as he can eat and keep it down, he can stay at home. The vet said the next time he goes downhill will be his last. So for now.....a small reprieve... and i am thankful for a little more time with my boy!!

amazing! so creative and beautiful and at such a sad moment! I am sorry about your dog - they are so much a part of our lives. Hope he pulls through okay.
