The beach was more than just a backdrop at this Ritz-Carlton wedding. Channeling the calming ocean waves along Amelia Island, Florida, Sherry Broome (31) and Jared Deraney (37) selected only classic white and pastel decor for a celebration that goes beyond chic. Their rose chuppah from Urban Poppy, shore-worthy escort cards and watercolor dessert all helped to set the tone. Draped in white fabric, blush roses and eucalyptus, their chuppah served as a gateway to the ocean and focal point for the entire ceremony. Sherry and Jared's accent let guests enjoy their romantic vow exchange as well as a peaceful beach view. The couple's sailcloth reception reception tent only brought the outside in as friends and family members retrieved their escort cards from its sand-filled setting. Soft pink seashells kept each one in place. Once seated, driftwood-inspired branches, sea glass and more shells surrounded each place settling as Sherry and Jared treated everyone to one of multiple desserts - specifically, their watercolor-inspired wedding cake. Splashes of purple peaked from within the two tiers of buttercream frosting and ombre ruffle base, giving it the look of waves moving toward the shore. The planners at Chancey Charm helped them bring every detail to life. See all the awe-inspiring moments captured by Odalys Mendez Photography, below.
