ahm, no, not exactly. It's odd, it's like...weird 19th century gadgetry...scientists, inventors...the industrial revolution. I think about that big thing in The Dark Crystal or ahm...the golden compass. The idea of science working with mystical powers...and then steampunk runs with that. Goggles are a big thing...um...mustaches for the men, bowler hats of course...etc etc. But like I said, I'm no expert lol

I was only introduced to Steampunk a few days ago. What an unusual subculture. It seems to me Steampunk is no more "punk" than goth is. But nobody asked me. All those gadgets and gizmos...not my bag. But there are certain elements that seem to coincide with my style.
