Let me know if you want to be tagged!
Natalie Marks walked down the shiny staircase in her family's East Hampton estate. "Do I really have to do this?" Natalie whined for the millionth time. "I told you that you have to go." Natalie's mom, Melissa Marks said. "All the other kids have been there the last four times and you haven't." "UGH!" Natalie exclaimed as she smoothed her new Alice and Olivia white sundress "But Addison's party is tonight!"Addison, one of Natalie's best friends was having a huge party in the city, it was going to be the party of the year, and Natalie was going to miss it. "All our friends have kids your age, just hangout with them." Jeffery, her dad offered as he came down the stairs. Her parents and their college friends met annually every year in Montauk to catch up. Natalie only went once when she was ten and all she remembered of her parent's friends kids were three frizzy haired girls with braces and a chubby boy that kept throwing dirt at her. If one thing was for sure it was that Natalie was NOT going to be "hanging out" with those people.
Natalie knew it wasn't worth protesting so she reluctantly got in the family's black Mercedes and sulked in the backseat. All she could think about were her friends in the city, having an amazing time, and she was missing it. Natalie was actually shocked her friends had the party at all, they never did anything without her. They were like puppies, they followed her everywhere. But they couldn't follow her here.
When they got to Montauk Jeffery pulled up to an enormous estate, the Del'Orfino's house. The Del'Orfinos were one of Natalie's parents friends. Like her family, they were extremely wealthy since they owned the Del'Orfino spa, a chain of day spas across the United States. The Marks walked up to the massive mahogany door and rang the bell. In less than a minute Gregory Del'Orfino, her father's old friend, opened the door with a huge smile on his face. Natalie studied him, his thick black hair was slicked back with gel, he wore a gray pinstripe suit that fit his body perfectly and his smile seemed blindingly white next to his dark spanish skin. In four years he hadn't changed a bit. "Jeffery, Melissa! Come in come in!" He exclaimed ushering them through the door. "Why Natalie!" Mr. Del'Orfino exclaimed "You've gotten so big! And beautiful!" Natalie tried to put on her friendliest smile as she muttered a thanks.
Mr. Del'Orfino escorted them into a huge backyard looking out onto their own private beach. In the middle of the massive yard a pool was lighted a pinkish orange giving it a tropical feel in the evening light. Just behind the pool stood a stately bar/poolhouse where everyone else looked up from there cocktails and smalltalk to see who was here. Here we go Natalie thought to herself as her parents friends flocked her with hellos and where have you been?s and your so beautiful! Alicia Del'Orfino offered her parents drinks and they left Natalie stranded with no one to talk to.
Soon enough however, Natalie saw four figures coming up from the private beach. Walking towards her were definitely not the frizzy haired girls or dirt boy she once knew but instead Natalie saw a sun-kissed blonde with a tanned, yoga body wearing silver sequin shorts and a flowy white blouse. Then there were two girls with the same fair skin and freckle dotted faces wearing identical pleated minis, Natalie remembered they were twins, the only way to tell them apart was hair color, one had straight platinum blonde locks and the other beauty brown waves. Last she saw coming up the beach was a toned, tan guy with neatly trimmed brown hair. He wore navy shorts and a bright blue polo, which Natalie could tell had a six-pack underneath. Who was he!? Natalie thought as her internal flirt-alert went on high.
"Hi." the tan blonde said when they finally got close enough. "Natalie right?" There was an iciness to her voice, almost like Natalie was an old enemy. "Yeah." Natalie said mimicking the girls tone. "Do you remember us?" the brunette twin asked as if Natalie had just woke up from being in a coma. "Yeah I remember you, but it has been four years so just refresh my memory." Natalie said trying not to stare at the guy.
The blonde smirked "Right, well I'm Audrea Gold, the blonde twin is Ariella and the brunette Hayden, they're the Douglas twins and that's Shane Del'Orfino." Audrea said pointing to Shane. He gave her a hello head nod and Natalie's heart did a cartwheel. She made a mental note in her head to get Shane to like her. Natalie flashed him her famous flirty smile that had scored her so many boys before. Shane smiled back.
"Right, I remember now." Natalie said, focusing more on how to get Shane alone than anything else. "Well, let's go back down to the beach." Audrea said coldly. She snapped her fingers and everyone else followed. It was like Audrea had them under mind control. Natalie followed too, if Shane was going so was she. "So Natalie," Ariella said to her "Where have you been! We've really missed you. Ever since that fifth year we've all been hanging out together non-stop. Too bad you weren't there." The blonde said in a kind of ditzy voice. "Yeah well you know," Natalie said in a distant tone, all she really wanted to focus on right now was Shane. Natalie smoothed her auburn curls when her custom iPhone 5 beeped in her juicy couture clutch. Natalie pulled out the gold phone, pink and gold were her favorite colors, they made her feel like she was royalty, and read a text from Addison Hey girlie!! Hows montauk?? You didn't think we 4got about you did you??? LOL Ugh her friends were so annoying sometimes. Natalie didn't bother to text back, she'd tell them about Shane later.
