Unusual indeed! This measuring tape is in feet that are divided into 10ths. These unique engineering tapes are the preferred method of measure for all oilfield work when dealing with pipe lengths. It is leather covered and embossed with "The Samson Tape - Keuffel & Esser Co. N.Y." a company offering surveying and engineering drawing tools. Likely from the 20's, very fine condition. Length 50 ft.
