This didn't come out quite as a had hoped, but oh well. I still like it :)
Day 11 of the 30 day challenge asks:
This quote from To Kill a Mockingbird, is by far my favorite quote in the world. Harper Lee is my writing idol, and even though I didn't mention it prior, TKM is one of my favorite books.
I love this quote for a lot of reasons.
One, I agree with it. People are people and nothing more. All the prejudice in the world is plain stupid because at the end of the day, we are all the same.
Two, this quote remindes me of simple childhood innocene. When Scout Finch says this, she's still young and doesn't even understand the concept of prejudice. It bittersweet because it then remindes me of the fact that all children must someday grown up :( I honestly miss my single-digit years.
