+ Road Trip! A big bonfire concert is going on at Cape Cod and they need bands.
"You're leaving me again?" Dave spoke, his voice hinted with disappointment and hurt. It was frown that made me want to stay, I wanted to stay and keep him company but as far as others knew, I was single. They didn't know about this secret relationship.
It first began as a fling, I will admit that but we were meant to be together.
F*ck, I've turned into a romantic; I really need to toughen the f*ck up. And quickly too.
"How about I make it up to you?" I asked, a grin twitched at the corners of my mouth as I leaned against the kitchen counter. I twirled the keys to my car on my index finger as I waited for a response.
"But it's my decision on how you make it up to me" Dave spoke, pointing his finger at me before crossing his arms over his bare chest and nodding.
Those abs, they killed me.
"Fine but if it's buying you McDonalds or something like that, it ain't happening" I reassured him, running a hand through my hair. I didn't want to leave but I needed to shortly before my brother would wonder where I was.
We were taking the same car to the bonfire and this little meet and greet with Dave was risky. Every moment, every second, every minute was risking our relationship all together.
"That's a shame" Dave pouted, walking around the counter and approaching me, pulling me into a secure hug. The affect he had on me, had me f*cking stunned. "But that's not what I had in mind" he whispered in my ear, I could feel his breath on my neck and sense the smirk plastered on his face.
"I have to go"
"You don't have to" he replied quickly.
"I need to"
"What's your body telling you?" Dave questioned me, keeping his arms around me, I imagined the smirk. That smirk. I let out a groan before pulling out of his grip gently and walking towards the door.
"My body will be waiting" he called after me, I couldn't turn to see one last glimpse at his gorgeous face and godly muscles. I sprinted to my car and almost sped to Lakyn's place where he was waiting on the front lawn, resting against his new car.
"You're late" Lakyn said whilst frowning, before I even approached him. I shrugged and tried to shake off the fact that I was ten minutes later than what I had agreed to.
"Get in the car before I choose to drive"
"Oh dear God, no!" Lakyn said hastly, sliding in the passenger seat and turning the key; bringing the engine to life.
The thought always scared him.
