Floral printed jacquard wrap-around skirt in cotton, nylon lining, hook closure, two side pockets, tricolored ribbon at back Thom Browne continued to explore the exaggerated silhouettes and geometric shapes that stand away from the body taking inspiration from Bauhaus artist Oskar Schlemmer. For Spring Summer 2013, the key silhouettes are sack jackets and pencil skirts bonded with neoprene to create a stiff shape that stands away from the body, long dresses with scalloped edge hem and 3 dimensional skirt, bell shaped flared skirts and trousers, short jackets covering the sleeves and shoulders, cropped jackets with exaggerated long collars, and tulip shaped skirts and dresses with curved hems. Color stories included a grey and white group, multicolor Madras group, and black and white group. Fabrics included wool and cotton suiting materials, cotton jacquards, lace and braided Nantucket rope. Spring-Summer collection 2013
