NAME; Ano'i Kealoha ,21
MAJOR; biology
HOMETOWN; Honolulu, hawaii
BIO; A native of Hawaii Ano'i is a beautiful, tall, tan girl who is an easy going person. She was raised by her mother all alone in hawaii. Her mother taught her that everything happens for a reason and to just make the best of the situation. And that is how Ano'i lived. Her grades were just average and her extracurriculars were surfing, surfing, and surfing. She did know what she wanted to do though. Ever since she was little Ano'i knew she wanted to go to college for marine biology and then work with the dolphins in hawaii. But when she took the ACT Ano'i got a thirty-five. So letters came flooding into Ano'i each college wanting her to join them. So to decide which one to go to Ano'i closed her eyes and pointed. Sounds crazy right? Letting that moment decide your future but that is how Ano'i works. And by a conincidence Ano'i pointed to yale. So she packed her bags and headed over to the main land. Now that she is in New Haven she adjusting to her new life. (mostly not being able to run around in a bikini everywhere). Now that the black cat has shown up Ano'i is starting to think that some things shouldn't be left up to chance.

Things to Know:
-Ano’i seems to be completely immune to the cold. She complains about it often, but continues to wear outfits much better suited for winter in Brazil.
-She also thinks the Atlantic Ocean is a sorry excuse for a beach day. Boating and fishing are so not her style.
-In fact, she’s having surf with draw.
-Other than that, she’s a fairly go-with-the-flow person, and is generally friendly and polite to those who are also friendly and polite.
-She likes making friends especially with those in food service. Thus, Ano’i manages to snag discounts and free drinks most places, and knows most the inside culinary drama between restraunts.
-She used to drink lots of coffee. But she hates the cafe’s blend, and has taken up a mango smoothie obsession.
-She adores marine wildlife, but especially sharks, turtles, and dolphins. She also has a fondness for tropical reptiles and amphibians. She can tell you all sorts of weird facts about them.
-She never brags or even alludes to the fact that she’s increidbly smart.
-She also hates coming off as ‘exotic’ or ‘foreign’. Hello, Hawaii’s part of America since 1959!
Now say hello. =]
PS: My only impression of Hawaii is from movies. Such as 50 First Dates, Lilo and Stitch, and Johnny Tsunami. So...bare with me.
