So, I think we all think about eating healthier in the summer. Fruits, vegetables, everything healthy makes a good snack, but here are some snacks you could try to add more flavor to your summer <3
Snack #1:
Fruit-kabob! (:
All you need is:
-fruits of your choice
-a skewer
1. Chop up some fruits into squares!
2. Pick a pattern (ex. watermelon, strawberry, blueberry, etc.) tip: use fruits that go well together (:
2. Put them on the skewer how you want (:
3. Enjoy, or cover the plate w/ plastic wrap, put them in the fridge, and enjoy them later (:!
{Some good fruits to use are: watermelon, strawberry, blueberry, cantaloupe, grape, banana, rasberry, kiwi)
Snack #2
Banana Strawberry Smoothie
(I know, this isnt exactly a snack, but it's a good way to get fuller without eating a huge meal!)
All you need is:
-bananas
-strawberries
-yogurt
-a blender
Now here is how to make it (:
1. Put the banana, strawberry, and yogurt into the blender. The more yogurt you add, the thicker the smoothie will be. Add as much as you would like, it's all up to you! (:
2. Blend the ingredients until you get your desired consistency.
3. Pour the smoothie into your cup, and enjoy it {best served with a swirly straw (: )
Summer Snack #3
Fruit Popsicle! (:
What you need:
-chopped fruit(s) of your choice c;
-Fruit juice
-Popsicle molds
-Popsicle sticks
1. Pour juice into popsicle molds,
2. Pour desired amount of chopped fruit in the juice (:
3. place popsicle sticks in molds (:
4. Set in freezer and let freeze.
