Yacht party.

"Eli please tell me you're joking. Rosie?? Seriously? You obviously have no standards." I sneered at my brother, who had seemed to take quite an interest in this crazy, quiet girl. For what reasons I couldn't even fathom.

"Mya chill out okay? She's pretty cool actually." His voice softened at the mention of her. It made me want to puke.

I sighed frustratedly.

He just didn't seem to get it. Rosie whatever her last name was, was not someone he should be associating with. It was just plain pathetic that he had been practically stalking her the past two weeks.

"Dude. Seriously? No. Stay away from her." I was trying to keep my voice at a normal tone but it was hard when he was being this unreasonable.

"Whatever My." He grinned at me before waltzing off. Probably to go talk to her.

"Mya! You look gorgeous doll!" Lucille smiled, coming up from behind me.

"Oh thanks. You look amazing as usual." I said and we laughed.

I was under the sneaking suspicion that she was friends with Ashley. But she seemed nice enough and besides, that was Elin's fight. Not mine.

"We need to catch up sometime. Maybe over brunch?" I suggested as we walked the outside perimeter of the yacht.

"Definitely!" Luce clapped her hands excitedly, before rushing off to great the other guests.

"Ashley is such a little snot nosed-" Elin's nasally voice pierced the air and I tried not to sigh.

"E, let it go. I mean come on. If the girl wasn't such a threat to you, as you claim, then whatever she's doing shouldn't bother you." I said with a shrug.

Elin just looked at me, at a loss for words.

Speak of the devil.

"Ashley!" I smiled brightly at her. She just looked at me and gave me a half hearted smile.

"Yeah Elin. Why don't you back off?" She sneered at her cousin.

I managed to escape the fight that was bound to errupt, running smack dab into Riley.

"Ri! Gorgeous outfit." I squealed and we exchanged compliments.

"Hey Mya! Have you seen Tyler Shaw anywhere?" Kat asked me as we leaned against the railing of the yacht.

"No." I shrugged and sipped my champagne.

I noticed her glance across to where he was talking with Jack and Eli.

"Is there something I should know?" I asked curiously.

"No not at all." Kat said, all too quickly.

I raised an eyebrow, draining the last of my champagne, as I watched her scurry away.

It was quite the event.
