MONDAY JANUARY 3: It's ladies night at The Black Rose, so grab your hottest dress, some dancing shoes, and prepare for a good time.
"Hi," I smiled at David once he'd opened the door.
"I thought it was girls night out or whatever."
"It is....can we talk?" I bit down on my lip.
David opened the door further and i walked inside, not even bothering to take off my coat as i followed David into the kitchen.
"Where's Avery?" I asked him, leaning against the counter.
"Upstairs sleeping. What do you want to talk about?"
"Us, what happened on new years eve, everything."
"Okay," He answered. "Talk."
I sighed, "Don't be immature about this."
"I'm not being immature. Say what you want, go ahead."
"I think we need to take a break," I said, not able to look at him. "I love you and i always will but i can't do this anymore. I can't keep fighting for this when i'm the only one trying."
I looked at him, "Excuse me?"
"No. You say that it's my fault?! That you're the only one trying?! Bull shit. You're the one that's giving up on us."
I shook my head, "No, i'm doing what's right. This relationship we have isn't healthy."
"You say you love me but if you really did then you wouldn't stop fighting Daisy."
"I'm not giving up on us David!! One day, we will walk down the aisle, i don't doubt that. But right now? Right now i can't keep doing this," I guestured between us. "I can't keep fighting. It's too much for me."
"No!" He yelled, walking to me and grabbing my shoulders. His grip was so tight it hurt. "You are not leaving me. I'm not letting you."
"Stop," I said, trying to stay come but it coming out as a shaky cry.
"I'm not letting you go Daisy Perry. I love you too much and i am not letting you go again. I'm not doing it. You see this ring," He grabbed my left hand, "That ring is a promise to you. It's a promise that i'm never going to let you go."
"Tell me that you're not going to leave me, that you're not done fighting."
I shook my head, tears stinging my eyes, "I can't do this."
"Move in with me."
I stayed silent.
"Or don't move in with me, i don't care. I just want you to stay with me. I don't want to lose you.....please."
I raised my hand, brushing at the tears falling down my cheeks.
"Say something god dammit!!!!" David yelled.
I opened my mouth, then closed it. He was saying all the things that i wanted to hear he was just saying them too late. "I can't David. I'm sorry."
"You're a b.tch Daisy. You know that? You're a b.tch and a hypocrite. You wanted me to fight and now i am and you're just going to walk away. What happened to forever? Huh? I thought you loved me. I guess not."
"I'm not leaving you! I just need a break David," I said for what seemed like the fifteenth time. Why wasn't he getting it? I could never leave him and i'd never want to. "I'm sorry."
"Don't be," He walked out of the kitchen, turning around at the last second, "You can show yourself to the door."
