The season, designers showed clothes that looked totally wearable in their Spring 2013 collections at New York Fashion Week. Perhaps a reflection of the current uncertain economic environment, the collections tended to stay away from completely outrageous, cutting-edge looks, and instead seemed like a more softly-hued, looser-silhouetted continuation of this fall's trends.
Intricate, baroque beading and fabrics splashed across gowns this spring, as did techno-kaleidoscope patterns. The peplum and flirty A-line skirt will also continue into spring.
