Hi folks! We have updated our Privacy Policy. By continuing to use our services, you are agreeing to the new Privacy Policy.

Name: Kathleen Hendrix
Age: 22
Based on: Audrey Hepburn
Likes: comedy, eyeliner, dresses, laughter, helping others, ballet, feasting her eyes on designer clothes, nature, her Yorkshire terrier (Mr. Famous), having hydrophobia, painting, art, the spotlight
Dislikes: insecurity, her shoe size, politics, untailored clothes, bad weather, hair frizz, stuck-up people, crazy people who go to extremes, small sunglasses
Occupation: Dental assistant and a part-time model
Aspires to be: Actress
Personality: Kathleen is a genuinely nice person. She has an infectious smile and you’ll barely hear of anyone talking bad about her. Unless they don’t like really nice people, in that case, well you are better off not knowing her. But overall, Katy is the type of person everyone likes. She always looks for the bright side of a situation and Kate’s the person you want to talk to whenever you’re having troubles.
Bio: Kathleen is constantly trying to turn herself into the girl that everyone likes, a sweet and charming person that has a squeaky clean image. But the harder she tries to do that, the more she fails at it. It seems as if things would never go according to plan and she's grasping onto this, trying not to give up. The only redeeming thing about it has made her have a strong friendship with Ezra Bradley, the famous actor. The only bad thing about this? That she's losing herself in the spotlight and she's not even famous yet.
Relationship status: Nothing serious for now
Model: Lily Collins

Story:
Today would be a long day, I was sure of it. For starters, the dental office was packed with people. A lot were complaning about toothache and there were many kids in the place, which always meant extra-work since a lot of them hate the dentist. My job was to try to calm them down but if that didn't work then I'd usually resort to tell them a story or sedate them if it got out of control. But I tried not to, because I didn't like to put kids down to give them a professional dental cleaning... which consisted in brushing their teeth and flossing.

However, the dentist will always be stigmatized because parents simply don't teach their kids that this is a normal procedure and that they should be more scared of riding a bicycle without a helmet. Nancy, my co-worker, usually terrorizes kids by telling them horror stories of what would happen if they didn't clean their teeth. I don't think that's a good idea, but I've never really told her. I don't think she likes me anyways.

"Hello there, what's your name?" I asked as sweetly as I could, smiling at a five-year-old little girl who was clinging onto her mother's leg. "I promise I won't hurt you." I reassured her.

"Amy." She said shyly, looking up from her eyelashes. "I don't like it here."

"Well Amy, I'll try to make it as quick and painless as possible." I replied to her, extending my hand towards her. "Come on, let's get your teeth cleaned. Mommy can come with you if you want."

"I don't want mommy to come with me." She shook her head. "I'm a big girl, duh."

"Amy honey, it won't hurt." Her mother said, giving her a nod. "Go with miss--"

"Hendrix. You can call me Kate or Katy though." I continued with my sweet talk, finally getting Amy to hold my hand.

"Katy, will I get a lollipop after we finish?" Amy asked slightly concerned.

"Only if you want one."

"But then my teeth will get dirty again." She pointed out. What a smart girl, Amy was.

"Of course. You could save it for later, though." I winked at her.

"Okay." She gave me a toothy grin.

We made our way around the place and when we were in my workstation, I helped Amy to get to her seat, which she couldn't reach. I explained to her the procedure, I reassured her that it wouldn't hurt and that it would be quick. She agreed and ten minutes later, we were done. I took Amy back to her mother and she gave her a big smile, showing off her freshly whitened teeth.

"Look mommy, Katy gave me a lollipop." She said. "I will eat it later." Amy explained, shoving the lollipop into the pocket of her jacket. "Can we go now?"

"Of course, sweetie." Her mother smiled at her daughter, clearly proud that she went all by herself to the dentist's office. "Thank you so much, Kate."

"My pleasure, Amy's next appointment is in six months." I explained.

"Will do." Amy and her mom walked out of the room, hand in hand. I sighed, looked down at my list and called the next patient.
