Lynn went home and snuck into the house and to her room hiding under the covers.
Jorel snuck over to her car and slipped a note through her window that had his number on it and it said to call him if she ever needed anything.
Lynn frowned and tilted her head grabbing the note and reading it. She blushed darkly and put it in her backpack.
Jorel wandered the streets thinking of a way to make it up to her.
Jorel sighed knowing he blew the small tiny chance he had with her. He also felt terrible about what he said.
Lynn dozed off in the empty classroom. Her parents were upperclass and constantly being compared to her older sister who was going to school at Harvard to be a lawyer on a science scholarship, they paid the rest of her way. Now that it's just Lynn they are teaching her about responsibility so she has to pay for her own way.
George walked around the school sighing.
Taya was being sponsored by so many sports centers she could have moved out a long time ago, but she was saving it all for college.
Taya pulled up to the school unlocking her car. "Get out. Don't come to the Track, Don't talk to My team, don't come to the events." she said waiting for him.
George walked to the school.
"Taya I'm sorry. I was out of place to say anything." He sighed.
"Hayley lead the team the rest of practice!" She shouted at the lead girl and limped back to her stuff grabbing her backpack. "I don't need to deal with your attitude. I already got enough shi-t to deal with." She said to him and hobbled off.
"Because I work hard and set goals. I will not let my parents issues stereo type me." She snapped pulling away from the house.
George narrows his eyes. "What ever."
Jorel bit his lip looking out the window at the place. He sighed looking back at her. "Taya I'm really really sorry. It's just you don't look like you come from here." He said softly.
"Don't. You guys only are here to try and pick up chicks on the team." She sighed and looked at him. "And it's not gonna fly on this team."
Taya ignored the comment and sped off to her "House." She lived in a trailer park with her parents. "You think I'm fed with a golden spoon?" She said looking at him, "You don't know shi-t about me yet you talk like you know my entire life."
George bit his lip. "So..."
Taya got in her car waiting for him she pulled up and unlocked the door. "Get in." she said very angry hardset look on her face.
George walked over looking at her.
Jorel groaned grabbing his nose and shoved George storming after her growling.
Lynn groaned getting up and limping down to the track. "Alright guys get a move on! There's nothing to watch! Move! Move! Move!" She shouted.
Taya turned around and socked Jorel. "You don't know what the fu-ck you are talking about!" she yelled running off the track.
George stared shocked looking at Jore. "Uh dude, your nose is uh bleeding."
"We can't afford track pants and shoes." He said shaking his head. "Sorry we aren't all fed with a golden spoon."
"What about the spare shit in the coaches office?" Lynn said speaking up.
"You're going to train in jeans and skate shoes?" She said skeptically. "I'm sorry this was a mistake." She sai shaking her head.
George groaned. "Good lets go home and go to sleep."
Jorel walked over with a gentle look. "Let me clean you up..Please." He said softly.
Lynn blushed and started her car, driving away once he stepped back.
(Ichabod is taking your "hurt her she deserves it" request to far. >.<)
"Just stop for a moment Taya." He said seriously.
Lynn nodded smiling a little. "Thanks George. I have to go."
Jorel grumbled about her being stubborn and walked over to her. "Just sit your ass down and let me clean you up. You can take a break to make sure your face doesn't get infected." He said in the same tone as her.
Lynn bit her lip nodding. "Ok....Thanks..." She trailed off not knowing his name but she did recognize him from class.
Taya groaned stopping. "You don't think I know that. I'm going to be nationally ranked in two weeks time. I don't have time to stop and deal with a scraped cheek!" she yelled at him.
George frowned softly. "When the swelling goes down run a tennis ball over it. It will hurt but it will help speed up the healing."
"That's why I need help and stop! You're bleeding!" He hollered at her, she ran off as he was talking.
Lynn winced inhaling sharply when he touched the spot she landed on. There was a small scrape on it.
Taya sped up and tripped falling on her face she clenched a fist and hit the ground getting up fixing the hurdel. "You're doing it wrong. You'd be disqualified at Sectionals." she said rubbing her bleeding face. She went to the beginning and started again.
George rubbed it slowly. "I know you are. I'm just checking your ankel."
Jorel bit his lip sighing. He ran after her jumping the hurdles in a non traditional style. More like he was jumping a fence but he did it with speed and didn't slow down.
"I'm fine." Lynn insisted taking the melting ice off her ankle.
"Go to the Y. Get in a foot race with The cops. I don't have time to train two burn outs." she said looking at him and backed up taking off in a sprint jumping the hurdels.
George chuckled and carried her to the car setting her in the front seat. "Lemme see your ankel."
"Who said we wanted to date someone on the team? We just want to train and become better runners." He said simply.
"Hey!" She squeaked and glared at him.
