Hiroshima (広島市 Hiroshima-shi) is the capital of Hiroshima Prefecture, and the largest city in the Chūgoku region of western Honshu, the largest island of Japan. Best known as the first city in history to be destroyed by a nuclear weapon near the end of World War II.
Introducing sight seeing and popular place.
1.Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park is one of the most prominent features of the city.
the area of what is now the Peace Park was the political and commercial heart of the city.
2.Hiroshima Castle is five stories tall and its grounds are surrounded by a moat. There is a shrine on the grounds, as well as one main gate. Hiroshima developed as a castle town, whereby the castle was both the physical center of the city and the source of its prosperity.
3.Shukkeien Garden,Shukkeien's name can be translated into English as "shrunken-scenery garden", which is also a good description of the garden itself. Valleys, mountains, and forests are represented in miniature in the garden's landscapes.
4.Miyajima is a small island less than an hour outside the city of Hiroshima. Miyajima is most famous for its giant torii gate, which at high tide seems to float on top of the water. The sight is ranked as one of Japan's three best views.
I'm not often visit Hiroshima but i really like Miyajima absolutely beautiful place [ red gate above in my set].
