17.Miyajima (宮島町 Miyajima-cho) was a town located on the island of Itsukushima in Saeki District, fa from Hiroshima around 1 hour.
Introducing Sight seeing and popular place.
1.Itsukushima Shrine Famous shrine with floating torii gate.
which at high tide seems to float on top of the water. The sight is ranked as **one of Japan's three best views>>
Most famous among the many designations are probably Japan's three most scenic places (nihon sankei). Selected several centuries ago, they consist of Matsushima, Miyajima and Amanohashidate.
2. Mount Misen The island's highest mountain.
3.Daisho-in Temple Buddhist temple at the foot of Misen.
4 .Walking Trails Leading around town and up Misen.
5.Senjokaku Large wooden hall built by Hideyoshi.
6.Museum of History Housed in a former merchant residence.
7.Miyajima Aquarium Nice aquarium at the far end of the town.
My view:Miyajima is one of my Top 5 favorite city/town in Japan too,i think no need to describe how beautiful of Miyajima is,when i was young i was visited this town as first time i got excited why the natural-made are so beautiful like a heaven.you'll not believe it this city was destroyed by atomic bomb before**along with Hiroshima.
of course man-made building again to restore a lot of things but i'm still excited it's really beautiful full of memory&historical.
