Although the main characteristic of the True Summer is coolness, there is still a version of yellow in this season. Great as an accent, this colour is a dirty lemon containing lots of grey, giving it an overall cool finish.

Thanks Helen:) I can see where this shade of yellow - in your set - would work for me. It is grayed and my eye actually see a little green in it. I do have a shirt that I think works for me that is really a light green-yellow neon. For some reason it seems to work.....kinda grayed, kinda green. But it's the only yellow shirt I own!

True Summers few yellows are hard to find but taking the time is worth it since exploring the full palette opens up your options and makes the whole experience much more interesting. If you can get the exact right True Summer yellow, it could be worn in blocks bigger than just as an accent but if you're not sure, best keep it more localised since too much heat will make you look sallow and wash you out.

Oh! I just got to this one next!!!! I see that there is a shade of yellow..... I understand your explanation and that it should be an accent. I know that is true of me.....it should only be an accent!!! Haha!! Gorgeous set!!!! xo
