"Ok, Luke, it's time for me to go now.", i say, kissing him on the cheek.

"Noooo...don't go, just got to New York.", he says, still sleepy, between the sheets, reluctant to open his eyes. He extends his arms and grabs me by the waist. "I'm not letting you go."

"Come on, Luke, I'm gonna miss my flight", I laugh.

"I know", he says, with a cunning smile.

"Don't be such a baby. We're doing one weekend New York, one week-end L.A. A week without seeing each other is not that bad.", I add, not very convinced.

"Are you serious? After all these weeks in which I haven't seen you? I want to be with you 24/7."

"There's always cellphones. Use them. Often.", I caress his hair. "Look, I really gotta go, sweetie, or I'll lose my flight. Love you!", I kiss him quickly and get up.

"Oh, no, you're not getting away that easily! He jumps out of bed and starts chasing me all the way to the door, while I scream for all the neighbors to hear. He finally catches up with me and kisses me. And kisses me. And kisses me. When I finally find the strength to release myself from his embrace, I realize,of course, that I'm late.
I literally run down the stairs and into the street and hail a cab. I have a large grin plastered on my face. They were right. Makeup sex is better.
As soon as the plane leaves the ground, I'm starting to regret leaving him all alone in New York. We've waited so long to be together again, and now it's just more waiting. Will it ever end?
