Ugh.Someone's at the door. Go away.Let me sleep.
I said go away!
"Mildreeeeeeeeed! Open the freakin' door!"
Uuuuggghhh. I stumble out of bed and head for the front door. Downstairs. Freakin' maid. Note to self: Fire the useless stupid maid. Freakin' people at the freakin' door at 7:30 in the morning. I have a freakin' hangover, people! DO NOT come knocking on doors at 7:30 in the morning! God, my head is pounding. Need aspirine.
I finally manage to open the door and..
"Oh my god! Summer!"
"Caaaaaaathy! So happy to see you!" She flips her arms around me.
"But...wait...weren't...weren't you supposed to be in Greece or somewhere?"
"Yeah, I was, but I got bored and decided to come home. And look, I come bearing gifts!" she almost sings that last bit with a broad grin plastered on her face.
"You did what?" she stares at me in disbelief.
"We broke up. You heard me the first time, you didn't need to make me say it again.", i roll my eyes.
"Oh my god, Cathy, but what happened?"
"We got into a fight.Huge fight. It started at Evelyn's party, and it ended home. For good.", i stare into the ground.
"You're gonna have to tell me what was that about" she hugs me.
"Yeah...I will...and on top of all of this, now we're moving to Los Angeles"
"You're moving where? How come? Oh my god, this is so cool! You lucky little b.itch!"
"Mom. New business, new partners...you know how these things work.", i shrug.
"No,no,no,no...you're not getting away with just that. Grab your coat, we're going out and you're going to tell me everything. With details."
"To get sushi, of course!", she smiles.
After we get stuffed with sushi, Summer grins happily in my direction.
"What? What is it? Do i have something on my face?", i ask, confused.
"No, it's not that. It's just that....I've been thinking about something", she says, smiling.
"What?", I ask curiosly.
"I'm....totally moving to L.A. with you!! You didn't think i was going to let you go alone, did you? We're gonna have so much fun together!", she gets up from her seat and comes over to hug me, as we start jumping up and down with joy, screaming happily.
