What do you do to bring peace?
The eight grey butterflies represent the seven continents and our ocean/atmosphere. The beings on our planet are subject to rights abuses and lack of freedom. The earth is subject to tremendous environmental predation and degradation. This is a war against each other and our own world. I think of peace as a universal right, so I imagined other worlds whose sentient beings gave up war in order to bring peace to their world. Their worlds became mandalas of peace, with their beings free. The leaves are a heart mandala that looks somewhat like the partly folded wings of a butterfly. I used this because one must love absolutely to set all beings free and transform our world; to create peace. The dark stems are a reminder of the dark path of war. The "War is Over" sign is an homage to all those who stand up for each other, our world, and thus, for peace. The curved background grid represents the universal space-time continuum. You are the hand that can choose to bring peace.
