The materials and all the colours available, are the reason why the chair is combinable and easily integrated in many homes. Classic shape - new seta heights The Eames Plastic Side Chair ( D ining Height S ide Chair W ooden Base) is made by Vitra in different editions, colours and with different bases. This is how the chair can be combined as desired. The base is also available with a heigth of 43 cm since 2015. This is how Vitra reacts to the growing average body size, which changed since the first production of the chair in 1950. It is more comfortable still with this adapted height. Multipufpose chair The unusual material mix of conical running feet made of maple with diagonal round bar steel, which together result to a strong, static construction, gives this chair an independent character. The Eames Chair is part of many private homes today, but also of entrance halls, restaurants and other public places. The withdrawing shape and the filigree base are the reasons why the DSW is a real all-rounder in every place.
